Honduras Restaurant, nestled on Murfreesboro Pike in Nashville, TN, has swiftly gained a loyal following thanks to its authentic Central American flavors and warm, inviting atmosphere. Judging by numerous reviews, diners appreciate the freshness and quality of the food, a dramatic step above typical Mexican establishments. Jeff N raves about the delightful dishes, while Mia Karoutsos, a former resident of Roatan, heralds their baleadas as the best she's ever tasted.
Notably, the restaurant prides itself on handmade offerings, with Ally Thomas highlighting the homemade plantains and refreshing horchata. Customers have applauded Honduras Restaurant for serving dishes like the flavorful Seafood Soup and innovative Passion Fruit drinks, all while maintaining friendly service. However, some guests have noticed occasional delays during busy periods, which is a testament to its popularity. Nelly Diaz noted long waits, yet still expressed satisfaction with her meal. Overall, the warm, family-owned vibe and commitment to quality make Honduras Restaurant a standout dining spot in Nashville.

My husband and I lived in Roatan, Honduras for five years. This was THE BEAT baleada I’ve ever had!! Family owned & operated. Clean. Friendly. Looking forward to stopping in again next week in our drive back to thru the Nashville area.

I rated 5 because my food was actually pretty good. #pollohonduras. I don't know if it was just today but the place was packed and like only two people working there were many people who left because they were waiting for seriously more than 30 minutes. I'm at the restaurant right now and there's a guy who came right after me and I've already finished my food and he still hasn't got his. Needs more employers the food is good though. I've already finished eating and my mom still hasn't gotten her drink.

We got the Passion Fruit drink and the Seafood Soup! It was delicious! Hot, fresh, filling and the service was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely eat here again when I am in town!

Delicious and authentic right down to the imported sour cream. Everything is handmade and made to order. I suggest ordering the plantains and a horchata drink. Yum ...

This place is delicious and they have many different options to choose from. I would say many locals wouldn't know about this place only because it's tucked away in a shopping center and because they possibly may not know what Honduras food is. I would say to definitely give this place a try.

I eat gluten and soy free because of food allergies. This place makes everything fresh from whole ingredients!! Excellent. They are family owned and very hospitable!
